Cancer

About this print

Cancer began with the Two of Cups, a tarot card I chose intuitively for this piece. Its image of two people meeting made me think about the care we offer one another—and whether we offer that same care to our own hopes.

Cancer’s sensitivity can help us understand what matters most. Care can be a source of strength, helping us protect what we value and give our dreams the attention they need to grow.

Give your own dreams the care you give everyone else. The Two of Cups becomes a reminder to meet your hopes with the same tenderness, attention, and commitment you bring to the people you love.

Cancer is a cardinal water sign ruled by the Moon. On the artwork, MOON names its ruler, CARDINAL describes its initiating quality, and YIN its inward-facing energy; the small symbol at the bottom right represents Water, Cancer’s element.
