About this print
Scorpius began with the Knight of Cups: a figure carrying feeling forward as an offering. I drew the card as a prompt for reflection, and it made me wonder what courage looks like when the heart, rather than certainty, leads the way.
The same intensity that protects what matters can also keep tenderness at a distance. Sometimes fear asks us to guard the very things we long to share: our affection, our longing, and our need for connection.
Let your heart approach what fear taught you to guard. The Knight’s cup becomes an invitation to meet vulnerability with discernment and courage. Opening to love does not erase your strength; it gives that strength somewhere meaningful to go.
Scorpio is a fixed water sign: emotions run deep, loyalties hold fast, and trust carries real weight. On the artwork, MARS names its ruling planet, FIXED describes its steady quality, and YIN its inward, receptive energy; the small symbol at the bottom right represents Water, Scorpio’s element.
